What the heck is a DTF transfer?  DTF stands for "Direct to Film," meaning our designs are printed using specialty inks (including white! Seriously!) onto a clear transfer film, which then can be pressed onto any pressable fabric of any color! Make your own apparel with durable, washable designs in a matter of minutes!

Pressing instructions:

** Heat press STRONGLY recommended! You will not yield as good of results using other means! **

1. Preheat your heat press to 310F.  Press your item (without design) to eliminate any moisture and to provide a wrinkle-free working surface.

2. Place design on your item and align in place. Cover design/film with a Teflon sheet, butcher paper, or other protective pressing barrier. Press your transfer using medium pressure for about 15 seconds.

3. Allow your garment and design to cool completely.  Once cool, carefully lift the transfer film from one corner and gently peel away.

4. Once film is removed, a final press is needed to ensure the design fully embeds into the fibers of your fabric. Cover design with Teflon sheet/butcher paper, and press again for 15 seconds at 310F.

5. If part of your design does not transfer, there is likely an issue with the pressure, time, or temperature.  Stop peeling, lay film back flat, and press again with more pressure and time first, or +10F heat increments until you successfully are able to transfer the design and peel back film.

6. If using a Cricut EasyPress, follow all instructions as above, except using 320F, and 20 second hard pressure. Increase time, pressure, and temperature in increments if transfer does not adhere properly.

7. Hand iron not recommended!! If you must, press using the heat setting that corresponds to the material you are using, slowly increasing the heat if necessary, making sure it will not burn the garment itself. More time and pressure will be needed for a successful transfer, so you will need to carefully monitor your pressing and adjust as needed.

Care Instructions:

For the best and lasting results:
Turn inside out. Machine wash on cold. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry.  Do not iron directly onto design. Cool iron if necessary, using a buffer to protect the design, such as a pillow case.
